The Giro delle Madonie
The tour can take place in 3 or 5 days depending on the ability, the desire for slowness, the curiosity to know and visit the splendid Madonite villages, to discover the artistic and monumental heritage of their historic centers.
Starting from Cefalù we will pass from Castebuono, Geraci Siculo, Gangi, Petralia Soprana and Sottana, Polizzi Generosa and Piano Battaglia: all places that are worth a stop to admire the architectural and naturalistic beauties.

Madonie from the sea to the mountains
Starting from the splendid Madoniti coasts (Cefalù, Campofelice, di Roccella, Pollina) you can pedal by climbing the Madonite mountains and the Nebrodi with return to the base to also be able to enjoy a little relaxation on the splendid Sicilian coast.
Cefalù is a chest enclosed between a splendid crystal clear sea and an imposing fortress from which its name derives (Cephaloidion in Greek means "head"). The story of this elegant medieval village is linked to the famous Norman sovereign Roger II, the first king of the Kingdom of Sicily. The cathedral is dedicated to the SS. Salvatore and the saints Pietro and Paolo and with his gold mosaics made by Byzantine workers is UNESCO heritage.
June - November
Madonie at high altitude
By making the basis of the Marini refuge located at 1572 m asl in Piano Battaglia on the road and on MTB, you can paths of rare beauty immersed in uncontaminated nature, where silence, the fallow, the foxes protagonists.
Covered in snow in the winter months, battle plan in the summer and in the spring is immersed in the cool and lush green of the secular beech trees, while in autumn it is colored red with a spectacular foliage.
The refuge is an authentic pearl of eating well that pays homage to the Madonite territory between tradition and innovation, but also proposes specific menus "for athletes".
